Gallery Purchases

Thank you for visiting EAI's gallery.  One part of the uniqueness of the Encaustic Art Institutes's non-profit status; with all Institute sales, the entire proceeds go to the artist. There is no sales commission.  A win/win situation for all involved.

If you are interested in purchasing a painting and wish to pay with credit card, please select the Pay Pal button and follow instructions.  We will send you a receipt from EAI, as well as Pay Pal sending you a receipt through email.  If you are interested in paying by check, please make payable to Encaustic Art Institute (EAI).  Mail to: EAI   18 County Road 55A  Cerrillos, NM 87010  Be sure to include which painting you wish to buy, the price, and the artist's name
  1. Click on PayPal button to pay via PayPal or credit card.
  2. After filling in the amount, click on "Update Total."
  3. After you fill in your Credit Card or PayPal info, you will see a link — "Enter Artist's Name and Artwork Title." Please enter information for one or more artworks. Thank you.

Care of your Encaustic Painting

Some encaustic colors tend to "bloom" or become cloudy over time.  If your painting appears indistinct, simply rub the surface with a soft cloth or nylon stocking.  Like any fine work of art, encaustic paintings should not be hung in direct sunlight or near heat sources.  They are also sensitive to extremely cold temperatures.
